Heart Of Mould

Heart Of Mould

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

Sitting alone

In the dark

Boxed in

It was bound to occur

Now you’re

Cursing

Every moment

(My heart of mould)

really like the metaphor here, a heart, wasting away alone, boxed up, now moldy. i think its creative. & written so simply, with few words, it leaves an impact. good write.
