Wings In A World Of Pavements

Wings In A World Of Pavements

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

I never really wanted anything within my reach

Dreaming of wings in a world of pavements

But then you came to my door

Told me you loved me

And put me out of my misery

Shot me dead

Now everything’s within my reach

(I got wings like a Boeing 747)

And no longer holds any appeal

(The trouble with wings

                In a world of pavements)

A outstanding poem. Using the pavement and wings drawn me to your poem. Description and story was very good. Thank you.
