Yours Sincerely

Yours Sincerely

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

Dear indifference

You’re eyes are shut

To me

And to the world

A world

That you respond to

With such apathy

That I can’t help

Wondering

Where your disappointment lay

Ennui

Renders you

Motionless

But I see your eyes flicker

As I mutter

This thought to myself

Perhaps less

Unresponsive

Than you’d

Like me to think...

(Yours Sincerely)
