Tears Turn To Snow

Tears Turn To Snow

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

It’s winter.
Deep and cold.

You’re behind the podium
Giving yourself up.
Tying your own
Noose
With a bleak smile.

We’re standing,
All in our rows,
Watching

And
It’s so cold
Our tears
Turn to snow
As they fall.
