The Loneliness Of A Revolving World

The Loneliness Of A Revolving World

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

You sit on your cloud

Looking down

Your head’s in your hands

And your tears

Rain upon the earth

Can’t you see

This is how it’s supposed to go?

We’re meant to die

And you’re meant to be alone

(On your golden podium)

The cruelty of a world

That revolves

Around a single soul

You sit on high

Looking down

Wishing you were just

Another face in the crowd

i always notice your rhyme and i bet you didn't. it's not like the like... *looks around* WORD PLEASE? never mind. forget that. GOOD WRITE. I LOVE IT. it's likeee, sad, and great imagery, like you can just imagine rain actually being the tears of an angel. i'm gonna think that everytime i see rain. awesome =)

Love it! Love the idea of God (or some deity) up there lonely wishing they'd done things a bit different
