Volatile

Volatile

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

You’re volatile

On edge

And likely to explode

But I can’t help it

I have to keep pushing

You closer to insanity

I have to keep driving

You insane

It’s like a game

A gamble

And I’m risking everything

Despite the hopeless odds

You will detonate

And bring me down with you

But it’s like a game

And I can’t help myself

With every word

I invite destruction

And one day

I’ll have to pay

Those first three lines made me think 'She's writing about my cat!' Honestly she it the most jumpiest thing ever!
And then, obviously not, because it was an awesome poem!
