Trace Your Heart Over My Own

Trace Your Heart Over My Own

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

I’LL smile as I let my

Fingers TRACE your skin

Eyes trace YOUR face

My HEART in my chest

Rolls OVER

And I twine MY fingers

Through your OWN.

* * * *

The night is dark

As nights are prone to be

And I lie

Flat on my back

So the tears drip into my ears

Among these twisted blankets

Which smell like you

And I dream

You trace your heart over my own

hmpf.

That made me cry. Soo sweet and heartbreaking and I like the message in the first stanza..(I don't know the technical term for it sorry...)
