Heaven Rebellion

Heaven Rebellion

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

The low sun

Sent long shadows

And picked out

The dazzling manes

Of the dandelions

The birds danced

In dizzying flocks

And Lucifer

Festered in his own

Discontent

It was the Heaven

Rebellion

And the world

Would never be

The same

Power-hungry

Lucifer stalked the

Heavens with a

Decaying heart

A destructing soul

Dreaming of rebellion

And a new order

It was the Heaven

Rebellion

And they were cast out

Cast down in their flocks

Into the fiery pit

White robes turning

Blood red

As they fell

From grace

So he changed his name

Lucifer became Satan

And

The world would never

Be the same
