Nonspecific

Nonspecific

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

You watch from your window

Watch the people below you

And you feel like a king

A god

But you’re just another nonspecific

Sitting in your office block

You stare blankly

Because you’ve forgotten how to blink

And your hands lay useless

Because you no longer feel

                At least

                That’s what you tell yourself

Really, you were never very good

With your hands

                                Just look at the

                Mess you made

                                Of it
