Shiny, Shiny

Shiny, Shiny

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

I just spat out all my insides

Spat them all out

On the floor

Of your shiny kitchen

Now a camera

Two plectrums

A string of beads

A memory stick

And three purple hair slides

Cover your (shiny, shiny)

Floor

All mixed up with yards

Of tinsel and burgundy ribbon

I kneel on the glittering tiles

And everything around me

Sparkles

In your (shiny, shiny) kitchen

Everything...

Even you

(Looks like someone

Dropped you in gold dust)

I love the sentiment, the style, and the wide grin catch-light confusion.

This was absolutely beautiful, and maybe one of my favorite poems. Ever. However:
Now a camera

Two plectrums

A string of beads

A memory stick

And three purple hair slides

Cover your (shiny, shiny)

was very confusing to read for me.
But I loooved this.
