The Less Loving One

The Less Loving One

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

I was never what you’d call

Your soul mate,

Other half.

I wasn’t even sure

You loved me much

But I adored you.

I was you’re second choice

The back up plan

You hoped you

Wouldn’t need

And I adored you.

But

You were always

The Less Loving One

And you

Never let me forget
