Sparkling, Glittering, Falling Apart

Sparkling, Glittering, Falling Apart

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

We’re all dressed up

In our SPARKLING dresses

SHINY shoes

GLITTERING tears

And they’re all looking on

They don’t understand

Why my eyes TWINKLE

With PEARLY drops

Of regret

Why I shake as I cry...

...Because

It’s happening again

I’m FALLING APART

As on the outside

We GLINT like diamonds

Oh I loved it

As on the outside
We GLINT like diamonds

Loved it so much. But you made me cry. Again.
