The Ghost Of You

The Ghost Of You

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

In the dark

The moon casts shadows

And I can almost believe...

My arm curves

Around a body that isn’t there

And I press my lips

To empty space

Whispering absent words

To the ghost of you

...But the sun

Always rises.

And the shadows of day

Hold none of the

Magic of night.

You are lost to me

Again.

i don't want to say anything because it'll ruin the mood of the poem...

enchanting, heart wrenchingly beautiful

:'( That was so beautiful and simple and lovely

the shadows of day
Hold none of the
Magic of night.

Beautiful
