Replaceable

Replaceable

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

Do you ever worry

That one day

You’ll be forgotten?

Exchanged.

Replaced.

You asked me my greatest

Fear.

I could have said fear itself

But I’ve been trying

To tell the truth

(At least on Wednesdays)

With the slightest flinch

Which you pretended to ignore

I replied

Being replaceable.

This made me sad! I like that the greatest fear wasn't being replaced, it was being replaceable, that says so much!

You will never be replaced! At least I won't replace you...Or something
