We Scream For Tears We Cannot CryA Poem by Cassidy MaskYou once told me That Real men Don’t cry
I never saw you Shed a tear, still I wonder If it’s fair To deny anyone The act of Crying.
When you went I stood at the window For days I wasn’t looking for you, I was waiting For myself.
For days The breeze knotted My hair While I stood there. For days I went missing.
I didn’t cry. I didn’t shed a tear.
Now I’m back And I wonder if it’s fair To deny anyone The act of Crying.
(At night I scream to the stars)
Still I have no tears. © 2010 Cassidy Mask |
