Your Kiss Is Your Philter

Your Kiss Is Your Philter

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

You lick your lips

As you stare me down

And it’s clear,

You feel no remorse.

(Your blank blue eyes

Are soulless)

Your hand rests on

His shoulder

Like a claw

And you slowly stroke

The skin of his neck.

He watches you

Hungrily, mesmerized,

As I pray.

Pray that he’ll

Look at me

See me. And remember.

But he doesn’t.

Your kiss is your philter

And he,

Your willing prey.

You smirk as I

Turn away because

You’ve won.

(Again.)

this is chilling. it's just some of the things you've put in this like 'you lick your lips as you stare me down' and 'like a claw and you slowly stroke his neck', it just sends shivers down your spine! and i love the effect of the last few line. it just sort of turns the poem over..

I love your writing.

This is amazing, just all of it is awesome, so cold and cruel and sad and and i can't think of the word....love it.
