Your Kiss Is Your PhilterA Poem by Cassidy MaskYou lick your lips As you stare me down And it’s clear, You feel no remorse. (Your blank blue eyes Are soulless)
Your hand rests on His shoulder Like a claw And you slowly stroke The skin of his neck.
He watches you Hungrily, mesmerized, As I pray.
Pray that he’ll Look at me See me. And remember. But he doesn’t.
Your kiss is your philter And he, Your willing prey.
You smirk as I Turn away because
You’ve won.
