Always, Sometimes

Always, Sometimes

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

You watch my tears

Melt the frost

At our feet

And you frown

Because, words don’t

Always come

Easily.

Your eyes tell me

You’re sorry.

But, sometimes,

(It’s not enough…)

I need more than

Seeing (is believing)

To believe in

The truth.

You look at me.

‘Which truth?’
