New.

New.

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

What’s new?

Besides a number…

I don’t feel new.

I feel old,

Worn out, tired.

I’ve got neck ache

Head ache, leg ache.

A bitten heel,

And aching jaw.

What’s new?

A new year.

So what?

They all run into one.

A long list of years

I have to get through.

I’m sorry.

You’d tell me

I’m being depressive…

…So what’s new?

I really liked it! My favorite part was,
"So what?
They all run into one.
A long list of years
I have to get through."
Great job!
