Writhe

Writhe

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

There’s grief in every

Angle of your body

In the arch of your spine

The shivering of your hands.

Contracted pupils

And gasping lips.

I watch you as you writhe,

You’re at your most beautiful

When you’re in pain.

OOOhf I love this,

'There’s grief ...
In the arch of your spine'

Such an amazing image/idea. I HATE seeing someone arch their back to stretch, and the idea that there could be GRIEF in that motion, it's amazing, I love that, oh the connotations! So much love for this! xx
