A new beginning I should embrace,

My turbulent past I wish to erase.

A future filled with the unknown, I must face.

Happiness is what I'm trying to chase.

 

To say goodbye to you,

One of the hardest things I will ever have to do.

Second only to the moment,

When I realize you have fallen in love with someone new.

 

If I could hold you once more,

I would make love to you like we did before.

Maybe then my heart, you would no longer ignore.
