Words can not describe

This is a poem i had posted on the site before it got all screwed up and everyone lost everything.lol

Beauty of a sunset,
diamond stars that fill up the sky,
words can not describe.

Wonder of an infant’s helpless cry,
wiping the tears from its eyes,
words can not describe.

Feeling the autumn breeze against my skin;
Colored leaves that sway and dance;
I will never again recapture the moment,
there is no second chance.
I want to feel the way I did,
when your love was new and alive.
What I felt then, and long for now,
words can not describe.

I feel this. I get very nostalgic at times thinking of feelings I just can't seem to recapture. The thing is... unfortunately, those feelings were meant for that time and aren't meant to be repeated. So just enjoy the fact you had the experience. Or else feeling inadequate without it can make us reliant!

Ahhhhhhh... it does bring a sigh... memory can be cruel but sometimes it can also bring back a moment so tender and precious that we can almost immerse ourselves into it. If you read my short poem, "Fur Elise" named of course after the piano classic, you may have noticed that same wistful note... not exactly a longing but more of a quiet moment sinking into the embrace of love in a time gone by.
