The final Battle

Last chapter of "The Legend"

"Bismuth!" Hurnek shouted. A fire ball was launched from the Fortress.

"Look out!" Drake shouted. Grimlock steered Xiuhcoatl away from the incoming fire ball.

"Im going to swope down there, then we will dismount and confront Bismuth." Grimlock said.

"Sounds good." Isaac said. Xiuhcoatl flew down beside the fortress and The Legend jumped off onto the fortress.

"Lets move out." Isaac said leading the group. The legend roam around the fortress trying to find Bismuth.

"Where is this coward?" Hurnek said frustrated.

"We just have to keep going eventually we will find something." Grimlock said. After traveling for ten minutes The Legend came across a flight of stairs. "Shall we go up?" Tal'Vex ask.

"Nothing's down here." Thorak said. The Legend ventured up the stairs to a large corridor with a door at the end. The Legend moved cautiously to the door. Shadow gribbed the door knob, and began to open the door slowly.

"Welcome my son's." A mysterious voice said.

"Who are you?" Shadow ask.

"Ares." Ares said.

"Show yourself." Drake said.

"Don't you know that no great assassin shows themselves." Ares said.

"Grimlock can you light this room?" Drake asked.

"Sure thing." Grimlock conjured a small fire lighting the entire room.

"What are you doing?!" Ares grunted.

"You cant hide in the shadows any more." Drake said. Ares jumped down from the ceiling.

"I'm the greatest assassin that ever lived. You will not defeat me." Ares said.

"We dont want to defeat you, we want to know where Bismuth is." Drake said.

"Ha. If you can defeat me then, you might be able to find information to where Bismuth is hiding." Ares said.

"I guess we dont have a choice." Shadow said. Ares knotch an arrow and pulled the arrow back. Grimlock blasted a fire ball at Ares causing Ares to dodge the fire ball, then shot the arrow towards Xenon, Xenon was struck with the arrow, then fell to the ground. Ares quickly moved about the room.

"Shadow we are the only ones that will be able to catch him." Drake said. Drake and Shadow took off chasing Ares. Ares escaped the room from a window but, Drake and Shadow was following close behind.

"Give it up. I'm to quick for you." Ares said.

"Ares you have to stop. Bismuth is just using you." Drake said.

"Bismuth has made me far more superior than I would have ever been, that's why I joined him." Ares said.

"Bismuth is going to use you to wipe out the entire world and bring chaos to the world." Shadow said.

"That's fine by me. More people to kill." Ares said.

"Ares we are your sons. Try and remember Zeelaj, and your brothers at the Black-Fist. Drake said.

"The Black-Fist? Thats a name that I thought I would never hear again. I was told that the Black-Fist fallen apart when I awoke here. Once the feeling sank in I decided to join an alliance with Bismuth. Bismuth further my training. He can do the same for you fellow brothers." Ares said.

"We will never join Bismuth, but we will make you come home with us one way or another." Midnight said unsheething his daggers.

"Midnight--" Drake said.

"You think that you will take me down. You will regret what you have just said." Ares said unsheething his daggers as well. Ares daggers were specially made to be as long and as thick as his forearms. As Ares ran toward Drake and Midnight he lept into the air; Drake was in the path of the leap he duck and put his hand up causing Ares to do a front flip. Both assassins turn to face each other, but Ares was quicker, and stab Drake in the gut. Midnight tackled Ares to the ground, and began to punch Ares furriously in the face. Ares put his arms in front of him to defend himself, once Ares recover he use his hips to turn Midnight over to his back.

"I'm going to enjoy this." Ares said picking one of his daggers up. Ares raise the dagger by his face, but the dagger was knocked away.

"What?!" Ares grunt looking behind him to see the rest of The Legend.

"Midnight hold on!" Zokia yell sprinting toward Ares. Ares got off of Midnight and picked his daggers back up. Zokai swung his sword at Ares, but Ares block the blow and push Zokai back. Hurnek and Thorak came next, Ares was so quick that he used the butt end of his daggers to knock both orcs out. Zokai charge at Ares once more, but Ares was fully prepare for the attack and used his left dagger to successfully block Zokai's attack and used his right dagger to stab Zokai in the ribs. Zokai dropped to the ground. Out of no where Thunder lept on Ares, taking him to the ground, Ares quickly roll backwards launching Thunder in the air. Thunder began to get back up on his feet, Tal'Vex put his spear against Ares neck. Grimlock teleport in front of Ares.

"Ares, I dont wish to harm you." Grimlock said.

"Ha. I'd like to see you try." Ares said.

"Xenon. Come and see if you can get into Ares mind." Grimlock said. Xenon began to meditate and venture to the mind world again.

The Mind

Xenon travel through the air entering Ares mind. Once there she began investigating the mind. Ares mind was different than the mind of Thorak's, Ares mind was very complex with shut doors every which way she look. Xenon peer into one room to see what look like a memory. The memory was of the day Drake was born, then a dark figure came in the door and the room went black. Xenon close the door and went to another room. This room was a much older one it seem, it was a memory of him and another woodelf on top of a roof looking at a man walking. Ares drew his arrow back and let it fly, striking the man. Ares and the other woodelf left the rooftop. Xenon left that room. Xenon continue down the hallway at the end of the hallway a door stood. Xenon open the door, there stood the man she was looking for, Ares.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" Ares ask.

"I'm Xenon, im here to free you from the imprisonment that Bismuth has put you in."

"Bismuth? Who is Bismuth?" Ares ask.

"Bismuth is an evil warlock that took control of your body." Xenon answer.

"I see, I dont remember much after my dear son was born. I've been lock in here ever since." Ares explain.

"I can help you get out of here." Xenon said.

"That would be great." Ares said. Xenon cast a light spell turning the entire mind white. Xenon was back in her own mind, then proceeded to leave.

Tal'Vex removed his spear from Ares neck, Ares fell to his hands and knees, then begin to return to his feet.

"I'm free!" Ares shout out in relief. Ares looked around and seen the devestation he had cause.

"Did I do this?" Ares ask.

"Its ok, I can fix them." Xenon stated as she was mending Zokai's wound.

"I'm sorry. Where am I?" Ares said

"Bismuth took you under his control long ago, and turn you into a monster." Midnight said.

"Midnight? Is that you?" Ares ask.

"Yes father, and your new son is here as well. Drake." Midnight said. Drake was getting back up.

"Hey dad." Drake said stumbling.

"Drake!" Ares said rushing over to him. "I'm sorry son." Ares said hugging him.

"Its ok, we got our own medic she'll restore me to fighting strength." Drake said chuckling. The Legend rest for a little bit.

"I would like to join you in your quest in fighting Bismuth." Ares said.

"We would be honored to have you." Zokai said. So with Ares the new member of The Legend they set off again to track down Bismuth.

The Legend proceed through the Halls of Bismuth's fortress. They enter a circular room with a tome resting on a stand. They walk up to the tome Grimlock open the book up. Grimlock began to read.

"It saids: to proceed further through the fortress you must pass a trial of test."

"What tests?" Zokai ask.

"It saids that the test will began when the tome is remove from the stand." Grimlock said.

"Wha' ya waitin for?" Tal'Vex ask. Grimlock remove the tome from the stand, then five beams of light shot down from the ceiling summoning five wizards. The wizards began to cast fire balls at The Legend, Grimlock quickly summon a fire wall to protect the group from the fire balls. Grimlock lowered the wall to let Hurnek, Thorak, Tal'Vex and Zokai charge at the wizards. Ares, Drake, and Midnight stood back with Grimlock and Xenon. The woodelves fire arrows, but the wizards had a magical shield around them preventing the arrows hitting them. Hurnek, and Thorak team up on the wizard to the left, Zokai and Tal'Vex team up on the middle wizard. Hurnek and Thorak tried to strike the wizard but fail due to the magical shield.

"Fall back!" Zokai order. Hurnek, Thorak, Tal'Vex, and Zokai fled back to the back lines. Grimlock summon a magical barrier, shielding the Legend from the wizard's spell.

"What are we going to do now?" Drake ask.

"I might be able to disable their shield." Grimlock said.

"Worth a try."

Zokai said. Grimlock began to chant a spell removing the magical barrier around the wizards.

"Their shields are down!" Grimlock yell.

"Charge!" Zokai shout. They return to their positions and began to cleave through the wizards in a matter of minutes the wizards were slain.

"Well done you have slain my wizards but you will never defeat me." The voice of Bismuth said.

"Let’s get that warlock." Grimlock said.

The Legend venture through the fortress seeking Bismuth. They got to another room where Bismuth stood at the entrance of a portal.

"If you want me come and join me in my lair." Bismuth said as he enters the portal. The Legend step through the portal which transported them to a mystic land filled with darkness and Bismuth voice called out once again.

"I'm through running it’s time for you to face your demise. Rise my army!" An army of skeletons and demons rise from the ground. The Legend formed a semi-circle.

"Cleave through these pests! It’s time to end this, once and for all!" Zokai shouted. However, Arch mage Rukah appeared.

"Thought you needed a hand." The Legend looks behind them and saw their home army. The two armies clashed cleaving one another.

"Legend you have to get to Bismuth we will take care of these pests." Master Arthur said. The Legend made a path through the dark army to the back lines of the army. There stood the dark warlock Bismuth.

"Bismuth it’s time to face your demise." Zokai shouted.

"As you wish." Zokai charge with the other melee behind but, Bismuth knocks them back.

"Ha, you are making this too easy." The Legend got back up to their feet. Grimlock cast a spell immobilizing Bismuth long enough for Zokai and the others to get into striking range, they all strike at the same time but, just then Bismuth knock them all back once again.

"Just surrender you will never win." Bismuth said mocking them.

"Never!" The Legend shouts as they got back to their feet. Grimlock began casting fireballs as fast as he could as the others charge once more. This time they were successful long enough for Hurnek and Zokai to cause the first cuts on Bismuth, but were knock back again.

"That’s it I’m through playing games it’s time to die!" Bismuth picks Grimlock up in the air and sent him flying back to the front lines of the army

"Grimlock!" Zokai plead. "You will pay for that." Zokai said. The Legend rose up again and charge but, this time it was Drake and Shadow causing a distraction by sending a fury of arrows at Bismuth but, was unsuccessful and The Legend was in the same position as last time. Bismuth proceeds toward The Legend, but a meteor struck the ground in front of Bismuth sending him backwards. Grimlock was in the air flying toward Bismuth sending fireballs at him, the others rush over to the dazed warlock Grimlock teleport to the ground next to the wounded warlock. The others hack and slash at Bismuth leaving mortal wounds along his body Grimlock hover over Bismuth and drove a meteor where Bismuth laid. The meteor created a creator twenty feet in the ground leaving broken Bismuth. Arch mage Rukah and the other leaders approach The Legend.

"Well done. You have slain the threat of our worlds and as a reward you all will go back to your nations and become the ruler of that land. We will remain here to ensure that no one resurrect this phantom. You all did great now let us do our job." Arch mage Rukah said. They said their good buys and step through the portal back to Bismuth's Fortress.

"I guess the terror is over now. Grimlock mind giving us a ride back to our homelands?" Drake asked.

　

Epilogue

Grimlock took the others back to their homelands. Xenon and Hurnek was married and both ruled the Sea of Boron. Thorak became Chief of Mt.Bloodrock, Tal'Vex became king of the Desert of Tol' and still participated in the Arena and remain Arena Champion. Drake and Shadow went back to the sacred forest and both continued the search for their father, while Daerth stayed behind teaching new wood elves the ways of the assassin. Zokai went back to blacksmithing and had a family of his own. As for Grimlock, he continued learning about the secrets of fire and arcane magic’s with the help of Arch mage Thom.
