Butterflies in the Garden

Butterflies in the Garden

A Poem by RinWrites
"

Inspiration seems obvioius

"
So many artists have written about them
Cinematographers have filmed them, on all screen sizes
Artists have sculpted and painted them
And there's a reason for that.

People have created gardens dedicated to them
Sanctuaries
Exhibits
And even beautiful preservation
And there's a reason for that.

Standing in the garden of your passion and creativity
Colors bounce on green and dance in the warm golden glow of the sun
The slightest breeze tip toes across your cheeks and lifts strands of your hair so you too can shimmer in the sunlight
Like the soul of your garden does.

Look at the marble-colored wings of that butterfly
Resting
Then waving
Enjoying every gift that the vibrant violet salvia has to offer
With every flutter, they move on to the next
With every flutter, they send a wave
A wave of energy
A calming energy
A creative energy
A soft energy with enough power to spark a fire in you
An energy that has touched the soul of millions around the world
One that reminds you that in this moment
This is life.
And this feels good.

There is a reason, why writers and artists and poets
Why parents and scientists and teachers
Have all dedicated a moment of their creativity
A moment of their life
To the butterflies in the garden.
