Attraction happens for different reasons

I did not always understand this

 

Typically I've approached attraction sexually

and I've been seeing how limiting that can be

 

When I have set ways to act and interact

There isn't always room for the real thing

The Gaping Void

the unseen.

 

It's a delicate dance...uncertain & clumsy

frightening at times

Exciting!

 

Difficult for the people that Love me to understand

I pollinate many flowers, it's in my nature

 

"But why can't you just Love ME?"

"I do"

 

How do I explain that I'm more able to Love in multiples?

I don't.

 

It's not a sterile measured and metered tanker

It's a mountain & spring fed lake, natural and Alive

Engineered to overflow

drawing many sources, ever in flux

 

Do I understand this? No.

 

Can I expect anyone to? No.

 

Some of us were born in the water

Magic Ocean full of life and death

No comfort in the blackness of expanse

but growing confidence in the knowledge of its depth
