On Koan

From a traditional quote regarding koan that I particularly liked: "do not confuse the moon with the pointing finger." Something about being aware of the difference between the interpretation and the actual realization of koan. I really wanna

I look to the moon;
Do I see moon or finger
Tracing circles?

Ive been on here for awhile tonight and most of what I've read has given me a headache.
Cuss words, violence....just plain weird stuff!
I like your stuff though. Its interesting. Its not creepy like some of the things people put on here.

'tracing circles' I like that line much - I feel that is what the poem hangs on, giving it its full form.

Uh oh... your haiku is too short. Yes, I'm only saying that because you mentioned it at rehearsal.

I do really like the haiku though, and it's a nice reaction to the quote.
