Best Friend Jake

A little poem I wrote in response to a comment a friend of mine made.

Best Friend Jake

You have two sides,
Best friend Jake,
And weird Jake,

Neither are nice,
But I know which I prefer.
Like the other day when,

I was on your shoulders and,
You wouldn’t let me off?
That was nice, best friend Jake.

Lately, you’ve been weird Jake,
I see him a lot.
I don’t like weird Jake,

I want my best friend back again.
And I?
I want more than friends.
