Unable to understand this reality

Since when has having people love you been foreign?

It is to me

The moment of love passes by and leaves me unchanged

Paralysed by the enormity of the task at hand I remain stagnant

Never changing

I stand aside and see the complexity you call love

Grasping for it within my mind

Standing unchanged, unmoved I remain stagnant

Try to understand

It’s not something I willingly chose

This was chosen for me

It is who I am

Who I am has always wanted the simplicity of love to grace me

But it always passes by leaving me unchanged

Unloved

Unloved by myself and always loved by those who surround me

Come back and change my ignorant unhappiness

Give me a world of complex hapiness
