Destruction of friendship

Destruction of love

Cherished moments lost

Lost to despair and heartache

Still alive though not feeling

Not breathing

 You’re not a breath away

Missing you

In the stillness your voice sings

In memories that watch over me

Memories that smile

Gently swaying me in rhythms of a heartbeat

Gently swaying me to eternal sleep
