Shattered memories piercing broken feet

Walking an unending goodbye

Trudging through my pride

Keep walking

Keep moving

No tears or sadness as you said goodbye

A smile hopelessly tried to follow you

Losing you has left me wanting

Anticipating your return

Yet walking toward a future contradictory yours
