Forcing a Feeling
A Poem by Constance
Yeah, not my usual style. It just had to be written.
Rhymes don't come easy,
Words don't just flow
And I never loved you;
Thought you should know
Forcing a feeling
Can be easy to do
When heart's been broken
By one better'n you
Everythings the same
As before I met you
Not one drop of hurt-
But I know you do
I'm sorry I lied
It's happened to me
But please, if you could
Fly on, you are free

I don't want this one rated. Not my best, it just had to be written.

This has a bit of a sarcastic, flippant tone, and I think that's really interesting for the subject matter, especially since it's the narrator initiating the break-up. Its shows a sort of mistrust of relationships and love.

About
I write about my past, my own real experiences. Even my poetry is inspired by my life. I was, I suppose, born writing, making up stories and rhymes from about when I started to speak, but had to wait .. more..
