i can read between the lines

i can read between the lines

A Story by brianna vega

sometimes i feel slightly queasy at thoughts i come across

i cant help it

people speak through thier eyes

and though they try and some disguise

i see beneath all thier lies

i cant help that it comes so easy

almost as if their personalities screaming

its not always body language

its some thing more

instants that define

OK. Lets start with the typo's, as theirs only two of them, but people are picky. Trust me though, I'm not one to judge. First line... Sometimes. and thier, should read their. That's it.
But the poem. Harsh, at points scary, and beautifully crafted. I like the way you maintain lower case throughout. It adds a childlike qaulity to a very mature poem. Nice touch. And that raises a question. Is it a story or poem or both. It depends entirley upon the perspective of the readder. But whichever way you look at it, it is powerful and stunning.
