A Poem by brianna vega

Another moment

Suspended among the clouds

She picked up the pieces of her life

Arranging them as she did with doll furniture as a child

A broken life with which to make a mosaic with

This is my time she thought

Heavy lidded eyes

Pupils that drank in light

Oh, what a beautiful write!

I love this, the lines are so subtle and delicate yet really, really powerful. This poem is one of those neat perfect packages that would be a whole lot less perfect if even one word changed its place.
