"

i cant remember when we first had the conversation. it was like a dream a faint memory. i remember focusing purely on the movement of his lips as he said it.

"lets just become vampires.

so when the world ends we could live forever.

youd have to find one though

cause they dont like me."

"why dont they like you" i asked?

i was drunk off the energy buzzing between us.

"i dunno, but i havent found one yet. and ive been looking"

but he was wrong.

i just found his humanity too beautiful to destroy.

i could make him immortal.

but it wouldnt be what he expected.

no. id have to steal his blood and replace it with ink.

its only in the vast expanse of memory do u lose your soul.

but how could i deny his wishes?

later that day i went home and wrote this. the deed is done.
