you hurt me
I wanted to love you completely trust you
Grow with you
Support your every need
But your cravings could not be quenched
Your insecurities too demanding
I loved a phantom
Someone you weren't
I loved a man that did not exist
Although you told me he did
I understand that you wanted to be more
But I couldn't love you unconditionally
When you couldn't see me
You were blinded by your own lies
And all I could do was sleep
