this hunger is unstoppable

and my eyes are wild while my lips stay silent

there's a burning in my heart that wont quiet

and i feel as if i might com-bust

i want to be your perfection

the girl you think i am

but i'm not

i'm a lost soul

a shadow of the night

a midnight philosopher

a lone ranger in life

It is a sad thing to be so alone in life, yearning for someone but remaining alone even if you might have someone who isn't who you feel the love with.

Ah... sometimes we all feel the same - the heartache, misery - the dilemma of life. Writers' life is very fascinating & alluring. It takes you to numerous life, makes you feel good, bad & get hurt at the same time. You rejoice it with happiness darkness & some kinda philosophy but whatever it is... you just find yourself lone by the end, no matter how many people you meet & how MUCH love you get or give from or to others. Very beautiful & creative poetry. I guess, i needed to read this. Excellent work, Bri!
