A Poem by brianna vega

I miss you in my stomach
That aching feeling that slowly rises to my throat through my heart
These thoughts rain down pounding against my eyes as I miss your embrace
Your caresses
Even the never ending picking and prodding you produce upon my nerves
I miss you in my mind
I miss you in my words
Each moment of silence and diverted glances tears me to shreds
I shudder at the thought of losing you
And losing me in you
Oh exalted love how I hate the cravings you produce between my thighs
How I hate the constant battle of Independence and codependence
Shall I bend and brake for your every law every wish every desire
Will my will be strong enough to last without adventure
Tho each moment with you is unpredictable
I miss the callings of new environments and dangers
I miss the mountains in the mornings
And late conversations between friends
Where guards are laid to rest with the sleeping world surrounding
But I miss you dear lover above me
You torment me
Yet you are my nightmare and my dream
