A Poem by brianna vega

she stares in the mirror her brown hair

gliitering curls and wavy tangles

dark eyes aged with life

hidden by massscara and vibrant lids

clear tears slipping down both cheeks

she clings to the sink hoping she wont fall down its drain

or slip to the floor

lord knows shes layed there a few too many times before

she slips finger tips across her face

dragging them across her lips

she cant trace all her emotional scars

and she cant let em out cuz then you might just run away.

'she clings to the sink hoping she wont fall down its drain" The sense of raw emotion here is very moving it really delivers the line and that the line right after though i dont believe it was intended rhymes with the previous gives your point and poem a lil twist making it a more interesting read. Great Great job
