You used to say I wouldn’t let you in
But I watched you pace
Before my door
Coming back for more
You never were far
You used to talk about yourself
Now that I’m older I see I left my self
A new life’s taken hold and it’s not getting old
I promise you it’s all changed
But where are you now you
Can’t see this pain
You used to say I wouldn’t let you in
Now I wonder if I robbed someone other than my self
I
