insomniatic thoughts

insomniatic thoughts

A Poem by brianna vega

i watched the sky change from brilliant blue to pink to orange to black as velvet
i cant read any more
im tired of the sound of another persons voice
yet i cant seem to get my own words right
all night i layed texting
playing a game
exchanging abstract thoughts and ideas
i feel like a character from the waves
am i afraid of virginia woolfe?
what is reality?
it escapes me with the passing hours
my identity is lost
my thoughts and character changes to quickly
i never know what will upset me
what will bring tears
i never know what will bring laughter
what will bring smiles
a simple kiss leaves me feeling caged
a simple touch leaves me nervous yet exhilarated
life leaves me naseaous

                            when will it end
