A Poem by Count Humilus
"

Silence of me

"

Monday the painting was supposed to be done

Monday Mirna’s daughter Belke and her son came and cleaned our self proclaimed cardboard box

Monday I rented a uhaul.

Monday I moved into Lex and Gower

Monday I left the Whitley.

Tuesday I watched it rain from morning to night

Tuesday I watched something change in my eyes

Tuesday I sifted through my thoughts,

Squinting one eye at the moving street lights

Wednesday I attempted to minimally sort out furniture and sorts

Wednesday I left this world

Wednesday I watched my existence from the corner of my green trim painted living room

Wednesday I waited for her all night

Wednesday I called the hospitals and the police

Wednesday I watched it rain hard from morning to night

Thursday I broke

Friday I had changed

Saturday I had my resolution

Sunday I left our world

Sunday I helped you leave

Sunday all my work came to what I wanted

Sunday it didn’t rain
