Yesterday Morning

Yesterday Morning

A Poem by Count Humilus
"

Silence of me

"

Bossa barks towards some activity in the basement

Brown pin striped shirt

Brown Tie

Black Suit

Brown Shoes

Espresso and stevia in a coffee mug

Revolver points lackadaisicaly at the ground

I open the door to my basement

Walk down the narrow steps,

lower my head

There is a fox

Two crows

And the devil smaller then I ever imagined cutting a bonsai tree

I put on my glasses even though I am just near sighted

Lean towards the fox and whisper my sympathy for his situation

Hand over the revolver

And head up stairs towards my day
