The Last Good-ByeA Story by CourtneyIts just a short story I was bored and it just came to mind hope you like it
Falling in sheets, a blanket of silvery thread rushing to the stone cold hard winter ground. Still I stand watching them shoot the 21 gun good-bye. I am frozen with fear because I have lost him, my one true love, forever. I watch as they fold the flag and hand it to me. I fall to the cold wet ground and cry out in pain for the love I have lost. I finally realized that I will never have him back. The only thing I have left is that tree with three simple words "I love you" and the memory of our first and last good-bye kiss.
