I fall to stand

Breathe and stop

Walk then run

Feel alive, so alive

I laugh and cry

Earn and lose

Love and hate

For I'm alive, so alive

Time passes by

People come and go

Stay or leave

But I'm alive, still alive

This whole stanza speaks out. This sole realization of our being alive no matter what happens, should be the thing. Sadly we find it easy to grieve over things...

It's short and simple, but it explores so much in just 3 stanzas. I also envy your ability to ignore the typical rhyme and rhythm and just write. Something I'm working hard at letting go of. keep up the great work. Cheers!
