Delusion

Delusion

A Poem by ChloeInTheDark

Impetuous drive in your vain
Your sinful eyes prove that you're disgraced
Uncontrollable desire awakes
The man you never wish to exist

The one who's hidden inside of you
Uncovers the true being you knew
Frightened by the envious resemblance
Try to falsify if there's a chance

Mistaken beliefs that guide your life
Forebears reality invasion
Irrationality is enriched
By self-delusion
Your delusion

I'm delusional most of the time, wouldn't know where to start!

Your poem works very well in most places but perhaps needs some editing.. there are small muddles here and there. Don't alter, just re.arrange perhaps.

Thank you so much for sharing you talents.
