The Succubus

The Succubus

A Poem by Chris T.
"

She's the kind of girl you know is trouble but can't resist.

"

Pretentious beauty
Scarred
Hard heart
Social illiteracy-
Literally.

Foggy cage
Cushions her brain
Touched just a tad enough
to be fashionably insane.
Boorish praise from
silverback gentry
Kneel!
Her wish is their command.
Devilish eyes
Flaming
 Burning bright
 mischievous and mendacious-
Mortal she is not.
Man is
damned
Man is
doomed
When her presence enters a room.

Love your word choice! Man, this is such a dark and mysterious poem. Love it. :D

This poem is amazing. You captured the very nature of this mysterious, or maybe not so mysterious, woman in a few short words. Well done.

Wow. I love this look at seemingly-perfect girls. Sort of with the medival language-I like this. Keep it up.
