Light will fade

Darkness will grow

The shadows will fill the land

But they will feel the final blow

The drummer of the hands of death

Dragging the souls down from there body's they lift

The light will shine on those who are darkest

And justice will be swift.

Craig welcome to the site. After looking at all of your pieces, I decide this one it the one I wanted to comment on. I like every thing about this write..the topic...the flow...the rhyme. It is not metered, but that does not bother me. I like that the lines grow along with the darkness until the final the final light of judgement shines and diminishes it again in the last two lines. Overall, I found this piece, and in fact the others to have a mature style that needs not gimmicks other than your words to create the scene for your readers. JC
