Beauty In The MeadowA Poem by Craig
In the early morning,
the scents of nature flaring
my nostrils,
filling my lungs,
I saw an image...
Not quite sure,
but I swore it was an
angel in the meadow.
She was poise upon the
mossy boulder,
upon the brook that whispered
and babbled her beauty.
She smiled.
I blinked.
She was gone.
The apparition vanished...
But she remained on
my mind,
in my heart,
and in the thousands
of dreams yet
to be dreamed. © 2016 CraigAuthor's Note
