A Poem by Chasity

Through the darkness
I see the light
it surrounds you
and I know
my choice is
clear,
I follow the lighted
path and there
you are holding me
once again
All is the way it
should be
But then I awake
and you aren't here
and I cry myself
to sleep in the
hopes of returning
to you in that
lighted dream
