& Sometimes I wonder why it is that I fell for you

how it is that I got to a point of no return

when it was that I first realized that it was you I wanted

and where it was that I first wanted you to be mine

 

but then I realize that there’s no answer to any of those questions

there’s only an answer to…

what made me fall for you in the end?

it was everything about you inside and out

 

you make me feel so alive

I don’t ever want to let you go

you’re the first person I’ve been afraid to lose

when you’re not even mine

 

I get butterflies when you’re near

but tears fall when you’re away

I could try to explain all my reasons for loving you

but how do I begin to explain who you are?

 

because that’s exactly what it is

all your qualities make you irresistible

and in the end I hope all this fighting

eventually helps me to end up with you <3

I love it! It's amazing. Whether this comes from real-life expirience or not, you have me convinced that you really feel this way. (If it is, good luck by the way). Love is a vague topic to write about in poetry because there are so many feelings that come along with it. It isn't always easy to write about love, unless you have expirienced it yourself. I commend you on your writing though, because it displayed a number of emotions really well. Keep writing! =)
