Music Keeps Me Alive

sick of hearing everything will be just fine
everything will be alright
waited so long
they talk all the time
but right when I'm ready to turn it in, hang it up
the music reminds me
of the bigger picture, the strength within
the tones, tempos and melodies hit me so hard
I start to weep
it reminds me there's hope
perhaps its the only thing that keeps me alive
